Are We Nearing the End Times?

Quite a bit of talk has been going on lately of the "end of the world"." Much of this is due to the impending election of 2016. Christians and unbelievers alike are in fear of the results and the future of this country.

But why? Why are Christians so afraid? Why are they saying that this means the world will end or that we are all doomed? Shouldn't Christians be the ones with the most hope for the future, since we know who has orchestrated this situation in the first place.

I understand you may not agree with what is going on in politics, but is that any reason to be fearful, or worse, disrespectful and hateful? In Romans 13, Paul says we are to respect those in government positions because they have been placed there by God. The Roman church was being persecuted when this was written. That little fact should put everything in perspective. If the Roman church is being called to respect the very government that is abusing them for their faith, how much more should we respect our government, one that allows us to freely worship.

Let this be an encouragement to you during this election season. Though the future might seem uncertain, God does in fact know what He is doing. This election is not a mistake and we are not doomed. We live in a sinful world and the effects of that can be seen in every area of life, including politics. Government officials are just like you and I-sinners. They are no worse or no better than any of us. Christ died for them and loves them, so why would we as Christians ever think of showing them anything less than love?

So, instead of ranting on Facebook and being bitter about the election, why do we not just pray for this country and for those running it? God is still sovereign- He has brought the world through so much and no matter the outcome, He will still be sovereign during and after this election.

Love,
Rebel

The Abomination of Desecration

For those of you who have read the series fully, you will know that in book 9, Nicolae desacrates the temple by taking a pig into it.Well I will give you the scripture that backs that up.

Daniel 9:27 says "Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;
But in the middle of the week
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate,
Even until the consummation, which is determined,
Is poured out on the desolate.”

When is talks about the middle of the week and the sacrifice, it is talking about half way into the Tribulation, and the sacrifice is made in the temple and will desracrate it. The sacrifice will most likly be a pig, since it was an unclean aminal.

It's NOT God's fault

Hey  guys. This post is a bit different, but much needed. I saw a comment on YouTube saying that it's Gods fault there is sin in the world. Let me just say, that is NOT true! In no way, shape or form Is it God's fault there is sin in world.

Many arguments are made saying that it's Gods fault there is sin in the world because he knows everything and created everything. But that means He knew we were going to sin, not that He chose that for us. When God created us, He gave us the power of choice. We got to make descions in our lives and not just be aimless robots with everything programmed into us. God wanted us to choose to love Him and to choose to obey HIm and not just have it be programmed into us as if we were drones.

Since God gave us the freedom of choice, we could then choose to sin. Humans got greedy, we wanted to control everything and we thought we knew what was right. When Adam and Eve sinned, sin entered the world. Why? Because a human sinned! It's our fault. The Bible says that ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God! Everyone is a sinner.

What exactly is sin, you might ask. The dictionary says It's " a transgression of divine law".Basically, it's anything we do that goes against what God has told us to do. Sin can range from disobeying your parents or lieing to murdering or adultery. The punishment for sin is death. And not just earthly death, but spiritual death. We deserve to go to Hell. God is Holy and can not have sin. But God loved us so much that he sent his Son to die in our place so that we could live. Jesus Christ, the perfect Son of God, died on that cross so you could live! But the best part is, He rose from the dead three days later, conquering death!

Does that make you feel something? Think about it this way. Before Jesus died, we were God's enemies. But He sent His Son to die for for His enemies so they could live. That would be like an American giving up their life so a terrorist could live.

So, what do you do with this info? God wants you to be a part of His family and to have a relationship with you. He has given you the FREE gift of salvation and all you have to do is take it. You can be saved from death and an eternity away from God. If you believe that you are a sinner and that Jesus Christ came to earth, died in your place and rose again from the grave three days later you can be saved! Pray to God, ask for forgiveness for your sins, and ask Him to save you. He hears prayers and He'll hear yours.

For more information on the sacrifice God made for you and how to get saved, go to the Don't Get Left Behind page on this blog or email me at leftbehindthekids.me@gmail.com and make the subject either Tribulation or Rebel.

Did you know that there are Left Behind Graphic Novels? These novels have been made for the first two books in the series, Left Behind and Tribulation Force. There are five books in each volume, which means some dialogues are shortened to get to the main point. These graphic novels are available at Tim Lahaye' s website, under Left Behind the kids, and then Graphic Novel. The books sell for about $1.50 each, or you can get a volume set (5 books) for $5.00. Currently, the first book in the second volume (Tribulation Force) is unavailable.
